New Trnovo Ski Lift on Jahorina – Faster Connections and Two New Slopes for the 2024/2025 Season
The route and earthworks for the new Trnovo ski lift have been completed, with piles and concrete pillars installed to support the lift poles along the entire route. The starting station of the ski lift is located at the exit station of the Obućina Bare six-seater (šestosjed Obućina Bare). The installation of the ski lift will soon begin.
Jahorina continues to enhance its ski infrastructure! The construction of the new Trnovo ski lift will significantly improve the connection between ski slopes, allowing skiers faster and easier access to popular destinations. The ski lift will be 600 meters long, with an elevation difference of 133 meters, and will carry up to 1,200 skiers per hour, with a ride time of only 3 minutes.
This state-of-the-art ski lift, manufactured by Doppelmayer, will directly connect Trnovo with major ski zones such as Poljice, while also improving access to slopes like Novak Đoković, Ogorjelica, Skočine, and Rajska Dolina. Skiers will enjoy access to more slopes even in adverse weather conditions when the gondola or six-seater lift is not operational.
In addition to the ski lift, Jahorina will gain two new ski slopes, reducing congestion on existing ones and providing greater comfort for all visitors. The construction is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2024, ensuring everything is ready for the start of the 2024/2025 winter season.
With this expansion, Jahorina will boast 54 km of ski slopes, further solidifying its status as a leading winter destination in the region.
